- Incorrectly regarded as goofs: When Sam is playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Nintendo, he says that he's reached level 3 when he's only at level 1, but he might have died and started over.
- Miscellaneous: There are numerous factual, audio and continuity errors with the other video games.
- Continuity: Mr. Putnam slashes Sam Wood's tires with a knife and drives away with it. Later, a mechanic pulls the same knife out of the front tire.
- Continuity: When the kids first arrive in Reno in the limo, there's a clock showing the time as 12:01. In the very next shot, the same clock says 11:37.
- Continuity: In the Video Armageddon scene, it is said that there are two minutes left, even though the timer visibly shows one minute.
- Continuity: The glass of chocolate milk in the beginning at breakfast.
- Continuity: When Sam is driving down the highway right before he gets his tires slashed, the tree in the back of his truck has few or no leaves. When he runs out of the restaurant later to see his tires slashed, the tree is full of bright green leaves.
- Continuity: During the Video Armageddon final competition, the scores that the announcer reads throughout it do not even come close to matching the actual scores on the Nintendo screens.
- Continuity: When Jimmy says, "Corey, I don't want to go home," Haley's purse disappears and reappears between shots.
